Governance
The UMCA, Inc. is governed by its Board of Directors and Officers as set forth in the Constitution and in its Bylaws. The Constitution was passed by the members of the UMCA on November 1, 2002. The Bylaws were adopted by the Board on November 2, 2002. From time to time the Board adopts UMCA Policies to guide the Managing Director and Program Chairs.

Download IRS Letter of Determination page 1 and IRS page 2. The UMCA, Inc. is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. Contributions to the UMCA are deductible under section 170 of the Code.
