| End Points for Cross-California Cycling Records | ||

| To challenge a record a cyclist must start and finish at the same end-points, although the bicycle rider may choose a different route between the end points. | ||
| Historically California had only one west-east route in the southern part of the state and traffic has increasingly become a problem. In 2007 new east and west endpoints were established in the northern part of the state. Because of the state's size and geometry, we will consider another west-east route in the southern part of the state. The southern crossing endpoints should be as follows: on the west end somewhere north of the LA Metro Area, perhaps between Oxnard and Cambria; and on the east end somewhere between Parker, AZ and Beatty, NV. | ||
