The Miami12hour is a WUCA sanctioned 12 hour event. Competitors ride as many miles as they can in 12 hours. Event starts at Black Point Park and Marina. Awards will be given in gender and age groups for singles, tandem, recumbent and HPVs
The Miami12hour begins at Black Point Park and Marina with 3 laps of the Short Loop(4.4 miles each) of the South District Waste Water Treatment Plant. Riders then transition to the Long Loop (88 miles round trip) via Card Sound Road to Key Largo and back to the start finish area at Black Point Park and Marina, 12 hour racers then transition onto the Medium Loop(27 miles). Between 3:00 pm-3:15 pm riders will continue onto the Short Loop(4.4 Miles) until the end of the race at 5:00 pm. Only laps finished before 5:00 pm will count toward your total distance.
